Greg Frankson is a Toronto-based educator, event producer, and award-winning literary artist. As an inclusive leadership specialist, he helps his clients through customized coaching, mentorship and training programs and delivers creative services at public events as a poet-in-residence, emcee, and speaker.
Greg has published four poetry collections, released four spoken word albums, edited and contributed to the acclaimed 2022 collection AfriCANthology: Perspective of Black Canadian Poets, and appeared in five other anthologies. His full-length creative nonfiction debut, Alphabet Soup: A Memoir in Letters, was published by Dundurn Press in January 2025.
Raised in the Kingston-Galloway-Orton Park neighbourhood of Scarborough, Greg grew up on the soccer pitches and athletics tracks of Toronto’s east end where he learned about teamwork, leadership, accountability, and commitment through sport. Combined with his 20+ years as a professional writer, Canada SCORES is the perfect place for him to give back to future generations.
