Canada SCORES hosts many events each year. Below is a sampling of the events we hold regularly. We also partner with numerous organizations to provide other unique opportunities to spread our message.

On May 11, 2026, the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund awarded grants to its first group of community-based organizations around the world, providing children with access to quality education and sports — and Canada SCORES was a recipient!
Continuing The Legacy
Affiliates of the SCORES network across North America all share in the 30 year history as a 1994 World Cup Legacy Program.
Selected as the Lead Organization to participate in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Official Player Escort Program!
In addition to the Official broadcast on TSN, there will be various FREE and low-cost FIFA Watch Parties in communities across the GTA. Here are a few currently being promoted: In Durham Region, Town of Whitby, Town of Ajax, Pickering, Cineplex Movie Theatres. Look for Canada SCORES Poet-Athletes during all National Anthem ceremonies!
Toronto 50/50 Raffle
Held in conjunction with our partners at Inter Toronto of the Canadian Premier League, Canada SCORES Toronto holds a 50/50 Raffle at all matches during the 2026 season.
Each raffle is open to residents of Ontario over the age of 18 at the time of purchase, whether they attend a live match or not, due to our flexible online raffle system.

Fall Frenzy
The perfect way to kick off the school year. Kids will be playing soccer, reconnecting with old friends, meeting new kids, and celebrating the start of our program.

Community Poetry Slam
It is the finale of our fall season and celebrates our Poet-Athletes’ hard work in the classroom. This event is typically hosted at a school site to facilitate the attendance of family and friends.

Spring Soccer Jamboree
This is our end-of-the-year spring celebration and is one event our Poet-Athletes look forward to! All teams participate in a soccer festival and have the chance to display the skills they have been training for all year.

Community Shout
In the spring, teams conduct community projects that will make a difference in their community. Our Shout event brings our teams together to share their community projects and to celebrate their successes.
