Canada SCORES is always looking for passionate and dedicated individuals who want to support our mission to inspire youth to lead healthy lives.

We offer many different volunteer opportunities, whether you would like to volunteer on the field or in the classroom, or attend our program or fundraising events – we want to find the right experience for you.

Volunteer Roles

Canada SCORES welcomes candidates for Board positions who are passionate and enthusiastic about positive youth development and want to make a difference in the lives of children and youth. The volunteer National Board position is an excellent opportunity to leverage your experience, add value, make a contribution, and give back to your community.
Canada SCORES Toronto and Vancouver welcome candidates for “non-executive” committee positions at the regional level. Like National Board members, Operating Committee members are passionate and enthusiastic about positive youth development and want to make a difference in the lives of children and youth. This volunteer position is an excellent opportunity to leverage your experience, add value, make a contribution, and give back to your community.
Similar to the National Board, we welcome candidates for Regional Associate Boards who are passionate and enthusiastic about positive youth development and want to make a difference in the lives of children and youth. The volunteer Regional Associate Board position is an excellent opportunity for first time Board candidates to give back to your community while developing the skills to join the National Board at a future time.
Canada SCORES welcomes the contributions of passionate corporate and community volunteers to support the development and delivery of major events through a combination of strategic planning, business development, fundraising, and logistics.
It takes a village, and event volunteers are often the first person an event participant will engage with, or seek support from. Our passionate volunteers have a significant impact on the success of our events.
Program volunteers are required to commit to regular attendance and support of after-school programs ensuring they enhance the experience of our program participants.
