Meet Our Staff
Kevin began his journey with Canada SCORES Vancouver as a volunteer in December 2013. He was a member of the voluntary development board, where he helped manage the organization’s website. After visiting the Canada SCORES’ kids on Day 1, he was immediately captivated by the program and started to volunteer as a soccer coach. His passion, dedication and commitment to the program only grew as he became more and more involved. One of his most memorable contributions to date was his involvement in helping organize Canada SCORES Vancouver’s inaugural corporate cup.
Jackie received her bachelor’s degree in Physical Education & Coaching and has worked with school-aged children in a variety of physical activity programs for over 10 years. She volunteered with Canada SCORES Vancouver in its opening year in 2014 and had the opportunity to guide many transformations in students’ confidence, behavior, social skills, literacy and physical fitness. Jackie sees the value and the potential that this program offers to at-risk youth, and she is passionate and motivated to be a part of the driving force behind the success of the program. Jackie is fortunate to have experience teaching English to at-risk students in Thailand in addition to teaching circus arts and acrobatics in Vancouver.
