Kimiko Perkins

Regional Coordinator, Programs & Impact

Kimiko joined the Canada SCORES team in 2023 as a program leader and has over a decade’s worth of experience working with children in schools, camps, and childcare settings. Self-expression through art and writing hold high regard in Kimiko’s life, and she hopes to help foster that spark of inspiration in poet-athletes. Being active is also a large part of Kimiko’s life as she played volleyball through her school years. Kimiko received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a focus in child development. As such, the values Canada SCORES promotes of: increasing literacy and expression, keeping active and healthy, and fostering respect and care for community all strongly resonate with Kimiko’s own wishes for youth, today and always.
