Canada SCORES Bids Farewell to Sarah McCarthy

Today we say goodbye to someone who has left a lasting mark on Canada SCORES.


After 5.5 incredible years, Sarah, our National Manager of Programs & Community Impact, is moving on to their next chapter. During their time with us, they have been a driving force behind the growth and impact of our programs—supporting communities across the country, championing the voices of our Poet-Athletes, and helping shape the heart of what we do.


Their leadership, care, and deep commitment to young people have touched so many—staff, coaches, and participants alike. They have helped build programs that not only inspire, but truly empower youth to find their voice, build confidence, and feel a sense of belonging.


Sarah, thank you for your passion, your vision, and the countless ways you’ve strengthened Canada SCORES. Your impact will be felt for years to come.
We wish you all the very best in this next chapter—you will always be part of the SCORES community.
