Laila Bamigbade

Regional Program Coordinator

Laila first joined Canada SCORES in 2024 as a Program Leader, where she quickly connected with the organization’s mission of empowering youth through poetry, soccer, and community service. Grounded in the values of imagination, connection, and community-centered work, Laila is passionate about creating environments where children feel empowered to express themselves, explore their creativity, and grow with confidence. In her role as Regional Program Coordinator, she combines her background in Sociology and Gender, Race, Sexuality and Social Justice at UBC with her dedication to accessible and equitable programming for children and youth.
