2ND ANNUAL SCORES CUP TORONTO HAPPENING THIS WEEKEND
Toronto, ON – July 22, 2025 - The 2nd Annual SCORES Cup Toronto Corporate Charity Soccer Tournament – Presented by Bothwell Accurate, will take place at the Zanchin Automotive Soccer Centre on Saturday, July 26th.
Canada SCORES Toronto is excited to share details of the 2025 SCORES Cup taking place this weekend, following on the heels of the most successful tournament for a first year affiliate in 2024.
Despite a shift in economic conditions that has impacted business at the local, regional and national level, we are grateful for the commitment of so many of the GTA’s leading companies and brands that have stepped up once again in support of our mission, to inspire youth to lead healthy lives, be engaged students, and have the confidence and character to make a difference in the world.

As we have been doing since 1994” said Nick Taylor, Canada SCORES Toronto’s Executive Director.
The tournament this Saturday will see fifteen teams take the field in two divisions, competing in a round robin and playoff format of 7 vs 7 mixed gender soccer. Thanks to the support and engagement of over twenty sponsors, partners and exhibitors, the Fan Zone will be bustling with activity for participants to enjoy between matches.
With tournaments held across North America in cities where all of our thirteen affiliates operate, plus additional potential expansion markets, the SCORES Cup has become the largest annual corporate soccer tournament series globally, attracting top companies and corporate soccer players each year. Notable participating teams include industry leaders such as Deloitte, Ernst & Young, McKinsey, Salesforce, and many more. This year, Canada SCORES is proud to recognize the contributions of Bothwell Accurate as the very first Founding Donor to the organization.

In the spirit of giving, and in line with the third of our core curricula delivered to Poet-Athletes in our program (Community Projects), beyond the fundraising efforts of the day that will support Canada SCORES Programming, under the leadership of the participating team from Apotex, we will be collecting donations of non-perishable food items for the Vaughan Food Bank as we did last year.
