Canada SCORES Joins Common Goal Global Community In Supporting World Football Giving Day

Vancouver, April 16, 2026Canada SCORES, an affiliate of the North American-wide SCORES Network established as a 1994 FIFA World Cup Legacy Program, is a proud member of the Common Goal Football For Good Global Community.

Earlier today, Common Goal took the first step in launching an innovate new global innitiative - World Football Giving Day.

At a time of growing global division, and ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, World Football Giving Day will take place on May 26, mobilising the sport’s global reach to inspire solidarity, generosity and collective action, while helping shape a lasting legacy beyond the tournament.
