As we approach the holiday season and reflect on the year, quickly coming to a close, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to the entire Canada SCORES community.
To our sponsors, partners, donors, supporters, volunteers, school board partners, and champions across the country—thank you. Your belief in our mission and your generosity make it possible for Canada SCORES to deliver free after-school programming that supports young people where they need it most.
Together, we are creating safe, inclusive spaces where children can grow as “Poet-Athletes” building confidence on the soccer pitch, finding their voice through poetry, and discovering their power to give back through service learning. None of this would be possible without your commitment to positive youth development and to the potential of every child.
This year has marked some pivotal moments and organizational change for Canada SCORES as we look forward to future growth and expanded reach in order to deliver greater impact in our communities. In these final weeks of our year-end campaign, we are proud to have reached 78% of our $100,000 goal, thanks in part to an extraordinary $50,000 matching fund supported by several generous donors. With just under two weeks remaining until our December 31 deadline, every donation truly makes a difference—and every gift is matched, dollar for dollar.
