Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement that occurs on the first Tuesday after American Thanksgiving (December 2nd 2025), designed to counterbalance Black Friday and Cyber Monday by encouraging people to "do good" through acts of kindness, donations, and community support. It was created in 2012 to inspire people to perform charitable acts and support causes and has since grown into a worldwide event with active movements in many countries.

To leverage this giving phenomenom in Canada, we have launched a comprehensive year-end fundraising campaign with a goal of raising $100,000 to fund the ongoing reach and impact of our proven social & emotional positive youth development model that supports children and youth from underserved comunities.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our Matching Fund Donors who will be recognized throughout the campaign, you can join us in our mission is to inspire vulnerable children & youth to lead healthy lives, be engaged students, and have the confidence and character to make a difference in the world., and Your Gift will be DOUBLED up to $50,000!

This Giving Tuesday, and throughout the giving season that will end on December 31st, we at Canada SCORES invite you to join us and unite for a common cause.

We are a proud member of the North American wide SCORES affiliate network that delivers over 1 million hours of programming across 13 major cities including the Lower Mainland of British Columbia and the Greater Toronto Area. By participating in our FREE after school programs, Poet-Athletes improve their physical fitness, develop new levels of confidence and learn the values of teamwork and collaboration that will help them as they grow up.

The campaign site will be live to coincide with National Philanthopy Day on November 15th.
