Canada SCORES' Poet-Athletes not only focus on soccer as part of their after-school programming but also on writing poetry. It helps with self-expression but on paper as well as build confidence.
Thank you to everyone who attended the inaugural Red Carpet Poetry SLAM on February 28, 2019. It was truly an inspiring event. Each Poet-Athlete did an amazing job performing their poems on stage at the Annex Theatre, courtesy of Vancouver Civic Theatres of City of Vancouver for supporting our event.
Congratulations to Aniq for wowing the judges and audience. We are proud that he will represent Canada SCORES at the Chicago Red Carpet Poetry SLAM on Friday, March 16, 2019.
